Respectlife Project

Revolutionizing the textile industry through a circular and climate-positive system

A paradigm shift in the textile industry

Respectlife transforms the textile industry from a linear, polluting model into a circular, climate-positive system. By leveraging innovative polypropylene production, super-hydrophobic antibacterial finishes, and a closed-loop lifecycle, we deliver measurable, scalable solutions directly aligned with the goals of addressing climate change and reducing pollution.

The four pillars of our solution

Low-Energy, Low-Emission Production

Utilizing the Spheripol process for PP synthesis, reducing electricity consumption to 250-450 kWh/ton. Dry coloration completely eliminates the water-intensive dyeing process.

Pollution Prevention

Intrinsic antibacterial properties without biocides. Eco-friendly maintenance with low-temperature washing (30°C) and biodegradable nano-detergent free from phosphates and bleaching agents.

Intrinsic Health Protection

Natural super-hydrophobicity prevents infections without contributing to antimicrobial resistance. Hypoallergenic properties and reduction of fibrils and dust. UV radiation protection.

End-of-Life Valorization

Mono-material construction allows for 100% closed-loop recycling. Clean energy recovery through non-toxic incineration or conversion into clean hydrogen via pyrolysis.

Performance Comparison: Respectlife vs Traditional Cotton

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Baseline (Traditional Cotton) Respectlife Project Target Reduction
CO₂ Emissions (per kg fabric) 8.1 kg CO₂eq 1.85 kg CO₂eq ~80%
Water Consumption (per kg fabric) ~10,000 liters < 1 liter >99%
Energy for Washing (per cycle) Standard (75°C) Low-temp (30°C) ~87%
Textile Waste to Landfill 99% (EU estimate) 0% (Fully circular) 100% diversion
Chemical Discharge (dyes, agents) High Zero 100% elimination

Additional Impact Areas

Marine Pollution

Elimination of dye discharge and reduction of detergent pollutants protect marine biodiversity.

Job Creation

Contribution to the EU's forecast of 80,000 direct and 120,000 indirect jobs in plastic recycling by 2025.

Public Health

Reduction in climate-amplified health threats through biocide-free antibacterial protection.

Combating Desertification

By replacing water-intensive cotton, our model alleviates pressure on aquifers in high-risk regions.
